If you are coming from out of town, here are a few local hotels within 5 miles of the memorial service.

This is a luxury hotel and fitness center located 2.4 miles from the memorial service and also right across the street from the Pleasant Hill BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) station which you can take from the airport (either San Francisco or Oakland).

Rates:  Friday & Saturday $129/night ($119/night if you give Christina your name and she makes the reservation); Weekday rates are $209/night or ($189/night if Christina makes the reservation).

This hotel is located 3.1 miles from the memorial service and 0.8 miles from the Pleasant Hill BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) station.

Rates: Starting at $79/night; however, this rate may increase to about $90/night if you wait to book last minute.

Walnut Creek Motor Lodge         1(800) 824-0334
This motel is located a short block from the Walnut Creek BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) station and offers a basic accommodations with a great location.  

Rates: $59/night without kitchenette or $69/night with kitchenette.



If you are coming from out of town and do not want to rent a car, let Christina know by Friday, November 12 and she will arrange pickup from your hotel to the memorial service.
